Peter DeVido

Peter’s 17 years of experience varies in as many countries as it does in the types of roles he has held. He started his career in Canada in the field of interior design. Satisfied with his exposure to that field, Peter moved to the UK where he managed teams of technical architects on medium-scale projects.

Sensing the potential of the Middle East market, Peter left the UK for Dubai in 2001 and by 2002 he was managing several high-rise projects. In 2005 he joined an international project management company to deliver mega-projects throughout the region.

Moving to Qatar in 2008, Peter worked with one of the world’s largest architectural firms to expand into seven Middle Eastern countries. In 2011 he joined Albaker Architects as their first Director focused on ensuring projects are delivered in line with the firm’s vision.
