Susitha Gunaratne

Susitha is a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with over 14 years of professional experience in structural design, detailing and supervision of concrete, steel buildings and structures. He earned his M.Eng. in Structural Engineering Designs from University of Moratuwa , Sri Lanka, in 2013, and achieved his Chartered status in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineers in 2009.

After graduating from University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka in 2001, Susitha worked in one of the largest consultancy organizations in Sri Lanka for 12 years. In 2014, he joined a leading firm in Dubai as a Senior Structural Engineer, working on the tallest building in Sri Lanka.

Susitha’s strengths include structural analysis, design, detailing, structural supervision, seismic assessments, performance based designs of buildings and structures and innovating economical structural designs.
