New Slata is a new approach for a mixed-use building in the Middle East where multiple uses come together to complement each other and the surrounding community. The building houses eight different uses of commercial and community programs. The uses are organized like Islamic patterns where every program intersection acts as a node. The intersections of spaces become hybrid programs acting as micro-urbanisms of intensified centers of cross-collaboration.
