The research, delves deep into the tissue of Doha’s composition, studying existing outdoor public spaces and the effect they have on the city. In this situation a new phenomenon emerged where public uses are adopted inside private development giving way for unique architectural possibilities.

Three projects are displayed that respond directly to this specific condition of the city as it exists now, and aim to provide essential destinations in the future. By analyzing outdoor public areas in Doha, it has become possible to identify what they offer, what people use the space for, and how they feed back into the urban environment.
