Wootaek Lee

Wootaek achieved his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Seoul National University of Science and Technology in Seoul, Republic of Korea in 2013. Upon graduation, he decided to move to Qatar because he wanted to broaden experience with other cultures and styles of architecture.

In 2013, Wootaek started his professional career as a BIM Engineer in construction site office with Hyundai E&C for National Museum of Qatar Project (winner of the TEKLA-UK BIM Awards 2012). During the project, He was in charge of overall co-ordination of Façade elements build up system, BIM modeling and BIM submission in Exterior design team for over 2years. Plus, He has experienced in Design Build and LOD 300 BIM As-built Submission in Interior design team with same project for 1 year. After over 3 years in construction site experience, he has joined Albaker Architects to expand the range of abilities as an architect.

Wootaek is interested in free formed megastructures being constructed in the Middle East and its implement method to build them up in reality by execution of BIM.
